Legal & Operational Boundaries
Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 6, 2026 · Last Verified: October 2026
1. Scope and Nature of Service
Cruise Promenade ("we", "us", or "our") is an independent digital planning tool and software utility designed to help travelers, families, and private groups organize cruise schedules, review port options, and coordinate activities.
Cruise Promenade is not a travel agency, tour operator, cruise line, common carrier, or booking merchant of record. We do not sell cruise tickets, own or operate tours, process customer excursion payments, or provide maritime transport.
2. Third-Party Booking Platforms and Tour Operators
When you select or book shore excursions, beach day passes, or activities through links on Cruise Promenade, you are directed to independent third-party platforms (such as GetYourGuide or tour operators).
- Direct Contract: Any reservation, transaction, payment, or cancellation is a direct contract between you and the respective third-party provider or platform.
- Terms and Policies: Third-party providers establish their own terms, pricing, availability, refund rules, health/safety requirements, and cancellation windows. You must review the provider's published policies prior to checkout.
- Affiliate Relationships: Cruise Promenade participates in affiliate referral programs. We may earn a commission on qualifying bookings made through outbound referral links at no additional cost to you.
3. Division of Responsibilities
To prevent confusion on your day of travel, responsibilities are clearly allocated as follows:
4. Return Buffers and Maritime Schedules (Planning Aids Only)
Maritime schedules, port arrival times, all-aboard deadlines, and dock versus tender statuses are determined exclusively by the cruise line, ship captain, and local port authorities. Weather, maritime traffic, and itinerary diversions can alter port stays without notice.
Your Responsibility: You must always confirm the official "Ship Time" and all-aboard deadline on the onboard daily program or gangway clock upon arriving in port, and adjust your shore schedule accordingly.
5. Shared Links, Privacy, and Organizer Controls
Cruise Promenade provides unlisted sharing URLs (/p/[shareCode]) for group collaboration. Anyone in possession of the shared link may view group activities, roster names, traveler notes, and indicate attendance states.
While our system automatically excludes organizer-private fields (such as confirmation numbers, provider direct emails, and phone numbers) from shared payloads, organizers are solely responsible for sharing links only with trusted companions.
Organizer Controls & Recall Limits: Organizers have direct self-service controls to "Unpublish shared link" (which immediately disables passenger access while preserving the plan for the organizer) and "Delete plan" (which deletes stored records across backends and revokes access). Once an itinerary is printed, exported as a PDF, or saved to a device's browser offline storage by a traveler, the platform cannot remotely delete or recall that already-downloaded copy.
6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRUISE PROMENADE AND ITS OPERATORS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR COMPLETENESS OF ITINERARY DATA, PORT HOURS, OR EXCURSION DESCRIPTIONS.
CRUISE PROMENADE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM MISSED SHIP DEPARTURES, OPERATOR CANCELLATIONS, WEATHER ITINERARY DIVERSIONS, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DISPUTES WITH THIRD-PARTY BOOKING PLATFORMS.
7. Service Contact & Inquiries
Cruise Promenade operates as an independent digital planning tool. Inquiries, feedback, or notices regarding these terms may be directed to:
